TEAM USA RESULTS-

MENS FS - CHAMPS

  • 57kg: Thomas Gilman - Gold

  • 61kg: Daton Fix - Gold

  • 65kg: Joey McKenna - Gold

  • 70kg: Zain Retherford - DNW

  • 74kg: Kyle Dake - Gold

  • 79kg: Jordan Burroughs - Gold

  • 86kg: Zahid Valencia - Gold

  • 92kg: J’den Cox - Gold

  • 97kg: Kyle Snyder - Gold

  • 125kg: Nick Gwiazdowski - Silver

notes:

JB looks so good at 79kg, im excited to see more of him in the future, especially a match w/ Starocci maybe? Penn State has done such a good job with Gilman, who won OW of the tournament. He looks a lot more happier there. Good job to Jden for bouncing back after the Rudis event and having a strong performance. Gwiz losing to Dhesi was crazy, Gwiz just needs to gain his confidence back before Final X.

WOMENS FS - CHAMPS

  • 50kg: Sarah Hildebrandt - Gold

  • 53kg: Dom Parrish - Gold

  • 55kg: Jacarra Winchester - Silver

  • 57kg: Cam Guerin - 5th

  • 59kg: Xochitl Mota-Pettis - Bronze

  • 62kg: Kayla Miracle - Silver

  • 65kg: Forrest Molinari - Gold

  • 68kg: Alara Boyd - DNP

  • 72kg: Skylar Grote - Gold

  • 76kg: Dymond Guilford - Gold

notes:

Its good to see we have depth within our women's roster, and their are a lot of rising stars. Dymond Guilford stepped up at HWT, since Gray is pregnant, and grabbed the gold. It is good to see Molinari get some success this past weekend! Sarah Hildebrandt is a beast, and definitely one of my favorite women to watch. Im super confident in our women's roster, and the rise of women’s wrestling will only help evolve that.

MENS GRECO - CHAMPS

  • 55kg: Brady Koontz - Gold

  • 60kg: Randon Miranda - Gold

  • 63kg: Sam Jones - Gold

  • 67kg: Hayden Tuma - DNP

  • 72kg: Pat Smith - Gold

  • 77kg: Ravaugh Perkins - Bronze

  • 82kg: Tyler Cunningham - Bronze

  • 87kg: Richard Carlson - DNP

  • 97kg: Nicholas Boykin - Bronze

  • 130kg: Tanner Farmer - DNP

notes:

This was also one of the biggest positives from the entire weekend! 7/10 guys earning medals is a step in the right direction. Tyler Cunningham is a young upcoming greco guy who trained out of Nebraska Kearney in college. Perkins medaling shows the depth of our team too, considering we have two guys who could win that tournament in Bey and Porter.
